Ward collections at Lincoln and Pilgrim hospitals


There are a collection of library books on Lincoln and Pilgrim hospital wards and dayrooms for patients to read.

If a patient requires a book please select one from the box in its designated area. For statistical purposes we simply ask that a tick be placed in the issue book provided each time a book is taken.

The following collections are available: 
Lincoln: Johnson, Carlton-Coleby, Stroke, Navenby, Burton, Dixon, Stow, Shuttleworth, Digby, Welton, Greetwell, Hatton, Waddington, Clayton
Pilgrim: M1, M2, Day Room on 3A for the 3rd floor, Day Room on 5A for the 5th floor, Day Room on 8A

Your library service has recently purchased a large range of e-books freely available to you from the comfort of your computer... 

You have now have access to the Medicine and Nursing and Allied Health collections via eBrary.

How to use
1. Use either Simple or Advanced search to find authors, titles or keywords. You can sort results by relevance, title or date.
2. To read an e-book click the blue title link
3. Use the InfoTools button to copy or print sections, define and explain keywords, read the author’s biography, and more.
4. The rest of the toolbar along the top allows you to scroll through and magnify the pages, highlight sections or download a copy.
5. You can also save an e-book to your Bookshelf to read at a later date

Three new Hot Topics have been added to our ‘What’s Hot’ section of the HeLLO website. This is designed to keep staff up-to-date with the evidence on projects the Trust is particularly interested in developing or implementing.
